Gregory Evans was first introduced to the world of computers in the 7th grade, and hacked into his first computer in the 8th grade. He then started his first “Hacker for Hire” service before entering high school, where his clients ranged from students requesting grade changes to high profile attorneys seeking hacking services for their clients. He made his first million at age 22, and was arrested at the age of 28 for crimes against AT&T, Sprint, MCI and Worldcom. Time spent in prison led to a change in Mr. Evans that created the passion and drive surrounding technology and community that we see today.  Not only did he take three cyber security companies public; he also received two humanitarian awards, and has since become a community benefactor, role model, and leader in the field of computer security.

There has never been another computer security expert and/or computer hacker that has been an expert on CNN, Fox News, ABC News, History Channel, CBS News, NBC News, CNBC, Anderson Cooper Day Time TV Show, Entertainment Tonight, US Weekly Magazine or just has been viewed or heard by 20 million people in one year in the history of computer security, until Gregory Evans. In addition to radio and television, he has authored many articles for popular magazines and several books; the most popular being “How to be the World’s No. 1 Hacker”.

He has been described as an “Innovator,” “Leader,” and “Visionary”.  Those are just a few of the terms that describe the extraordinary range of talents and expertise that distinguish this multi-faceted author and cyber-security expert from others in his field. He is a man driven by two passions: technology and community, and he has made it his mission to use the former to serve the latter. Mr. Evans is passionate about providing helpful services to the public. His abiding interest in the benefits of technology also enabled him to recognize the ways in which it could be misused by dishonest people, an insight that also placed him at the forefront of the movement to establish effective means of cyber security.  This has led to the demand for Mr. Evans to educate local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies around the country including: DEA, Secret Service, FBI, ATF, U.S. Marshals, Inspector General and IRS.

Even after all of his books, media appearances, trainings, inventions and publicly traded companies, Gregory Evans still considers himself as being at the beginning of his task, standing on the brink of the vast, still largely unexplored frontier of technological security. Like those before him who set out in search of new and better solutions, Gregory Evans is a trailblazer; continuing his quest to excel and reach higher heights.
